General Information
The foremost aim of the Business Department is to graduate prospective managers modelled in education based on Turkish, French and English languages, equipped for international businesses.
The academic policy of the department is theory unified with practice where students are expected to actively participate. Therefore, besides utilising course resources as tools, case studies in which acquired knowledge is being put to use, computerised management simulations and research are of utmost significance.
Successful students have the chance to benefit from an exchange program in France for one semester.
Research that is carried out at the Business Management Research and Application Center focuses on the current theoretical and practical topics. Moreover, research for presentations in international conferences and meetings are fully supported.
The department also holds a master’s program without thesis in coordination with Universite Paris IX- Dauphine and Paris I Pantheon-Sorbonne (Institut d’Administration des Entreprises- IAE), which award the graduates two diplomas.
There are also Business master’s program (with thesis) run by the Institute of Social Sciences, and Business Management and Marketing and Logistics master’s programs without thesis. There is PhD program in Business as well.
The Business Club, founded by the students of the department, organises extra-curricular activities such as conferences, seminars and panel discussions, inviting successful entrepreneurs and business managers.
