Cooperation with the CFA Institute
The Department of Management at Galatasaray University is part of the CFA University Affiliation Program through its cooperation with the CFA Institute, one of the most prestigious professional organizations in the world in the field of finance. This collaboration, which demonstrates our department’s alignment with global investment management standards, provides significant advantages to our students.
In this context, students of the Department of Management at Galatasaray University receive education aligned with the content of the CFA Level I exam. They also gain in-depth knowledge in areas such as finance, investment analysis, portfolio management, and ethics in accordance with industry standards. In addition, they have the opportunity to apply for a limited number of CFA Program scholarships.

Cooperation with the ACCA
The Department of Management at Galatasaray University is recognized by the ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants), one of the leading global professional organizations in the fields of accounting and finance. Through this cooperation, our students are eligible for direct exemptions from three ACCA exams upon successfully completing certain courses within the undergraduate management program. These exemptions provide significant advantages in terms of both time and cost in obtaining the ACCA qualification.
The ACCA units (exams) for which exemptions are granted are listed below:
- Business and Technology (BT): exemption granted upon completion of the undergraduate management program.
- Management Accounting (MA): exemption granted upon successful completion of G231 Cost Accounting, G232 Management Accounting, and G332 Cost Management courses.
- Financial Accounting (FA): exemption granted upon successful completion of G131 Financial Accounting I and G132 Financial Accounting II courses.
